The Grand Seiko Elegance Collection SBGW258 9S64-00P0 is a modern reissue of the very first Grand Seiko model from 1960, updated with contemporary technology while preserving its original elegance. The case size has been modestly increased from 35mm to 38mm, enhancing wearability without compromising the refined, timeless aesthetic. Crafted in yellow gold, the watch features a clean ivory dial adorned with a precious metal index and the "SD" (Special Dial) mark at 6 o’clock. Unlike the original, this version includes a sapphire see-through case back that reveals the beautifully hand-finished Caliber 9S64 movement with a 72-hour power reserve. It has undergone maintenance and exterior finishing, and the strap has been replaced with a new genuine Grand Seiko one. The engraving on the case back is slightly faint but intact. This model combines heritage, craftsmanship, and subtle luxury in a truly classic form.
