Description
The Breitling Navitimer Twin Sixty II A39022.1 is a unique and historically significant chronograph, notable for being the world's first watch equipped with two 60-minute counters. Originally launched in 1997 and updated in 1999, the Twin Sixty II features improved readability with large Arabic numeral indexes and a distinctive black and silver dial. Its burnt tritium lume adds vintage character, creating a warm patina that enhances its nostalgic appeal. Housed in a 42mm stainless steel case, it includes essential functions such as a rotating slide rule bezel, chronograph, and 24-hour display—hallmarks of the Navitimer series. This particular piece was originally sold in May 2001 and has since undergone a full overhaul and exterior polishing to ensure excellent condition. While part of the luminous material at 11 o'clock has peeled, the watch remains an eye-catching and collectible timepiece for aviation and vintage watch enthusiasts alike.
