Description
The Montblanc 1858 Manual Small Second (Ref. 113702) is a vintage-inspired timepiece released in 2018 to honor the 160th anniversary of Minerva, known for its historical chronographs and mountaineering watches. This 44mm stainless steel model features a deep blue dial with Arabic numerals and a small seconds sub-dial, offering a classic and refined look. It is powered by the manually wound Caliber MB 23.03 (based on the Unitas 6498-1), a large, reliable movement originally designed for pocket watches. The see-through case back provides a clear view of this beautifully finished mechanism, adding to the watch’s charm. Though originally fitted with a leather strap, this particular piece comes with a Montblanc stainless steel bracelet, professionally installed by the previous owner. Sold in July 2024 and recently serviced with exterior finishing, it remains in excellent condition. The 1858 113702 is perfect for those who appreciate heritage design, traditional watchmaking, and timeless style.
