The PATEK PHILIPPE 5170G-001 Complication Chronograph Opaline is a distinguished men’s wristwatch that reflects the brand’s mastery of traditional watchmaking through its elegant white-gold case and refined opaline dial. Powered by the hand-wound Caliber CH 29-535 PS, one of Patek Philippe’s most celebrated in-house chronograph movements, it offers exceptional mechanical precision along with a beautifully finished architecture visible through the sapphire see-through back. Its clean dial layout features a small-seconds display, a classic chronograph function, and a pulsometer scale, combining practicality with timeless aesthetic balance. Protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, the dial maintains outstanding clarity while the 39 mm case size and 11.2 mm thickness ensure sophisticated proportions suitable for both formal and daily wear. The watch comes paired with a black alligator strap for a luxurious appearance, though straps made from CITES-regulated materials are removed prior to shipping (the buckle is included). With 30 m water resistance and a wrist fit of approximately 13.5–18 cm, it delivers comfort and versatility.
This watch shows minor scratches on the case and bezel, slight signs of use on the strap, and small scratches on the buckle, while the sapphire crystal remains free from noticeable damage. It includes the manufacturer’s warranty dated April 2014, adding confidence and authenticity to this finely preserved timepiece.
