Buy Certified Pre-Owned Chronoswiss Watches in Switzerland

Chronoswiss was founded in Munich in 1983 by master watchmaker Gerd-Rüdiger Lang, who launched the brand at the height of the quartz crisis as a deliberate statement of belief in mechanical watchmaking. In 1987, the manufacturer introduced the Régulateur, the first wristwatch in history to separate hours, minutes and seconds into distinct displays on the dial, a layout previously seen only on marine chronometers and reference clocks. The brand's distinctive design language, including the fluted bezel and oversized onion crown, dates from that same period. Chronoswiss relocated to Lucerne, Switzerland, under the Ebstein family in 2012 and continues to produce limited-volume mechanical watches from its own atelier.

At WATCHOYSTER, we carry a selection of certified pre-owned Chronoswiss watches, sourced and inspected in Switzerland. Every piece has been physically examined by our in-house certified watchmaker, verified against The Watch Register, and documented before listing. What you see reflects the actual condition of the watch, with no exceptions.

Why Buy Pre-Owned Chronoswiss

Chronoswiss occupies a genuinely independent position in the market, with the Régulateur and Opus skeleton chronograph remaining among the most recognisable designs in mechanical watchmaking from the 1980s onward. The pre-owned market offers access to earlier Munich-era pieces and discontinued limited editions that no longer appear at retail. Buying a certified second-hand Chronoswiss from a verified dealer in Switzerland means every piece has been assessed for movement accuracy, case condition and dial originality before listing. Our 12-month warranty applies to every watch in our catalogue, and our 14-day return policy covers any case where the watch does not correspond to its description.

Purchase Conditions

All Chronoswiss watches in our catalogue are available for immediate purchase with worldwide insured delivery. Standard delivery across Switzerland takes 2 to 3 business days. For clients who prefer to inspect the watch in person before completing the purchase, our appointment-only lounge in the Geneva Free Zone is available by prior arrangement.

0% financing is available on selected pre-owned Chronoswiss references for clients based in Switzerland, with terms from 3 to 24 months, no interest and no administrative fees. The full purchase price is divided into equal monthly instalments, with a minimum first payment of 25%. A decision takes under three minutes at checkout, with no documentation required beyond standard order information.
