Franck Muller founded his manufacture in Genthod, on the shores of Lake Geneva, in 1991 after building a reputation as one of the most technically capable watchmakers of his generation through the restoration of antique pocket watches and the development of complicated movements for other houses. The Cintrée Curvex, the brand's signature case, was designed specifically to accommodate the large pocket watch movements that Muller favoured, curved to follow the wrist and proportioned in a way that no other case in the market replicates. The complications Franck Muller developed through the 1990s and 2000s, including tourbillons, minute repeaters, perpetual calendars and the Crazy Hours retrograde display, were produced at a scale and technical level that established the brand as one of the most ambitious independent manufacturers in Geneva.
At WATCHOYSTER, we carry a selection of certified pre-owned Franck Muller watches inspected in Switzerland. Every piece has been physically examined by our in-house certified watchmaker, verified against The Watch Register, and documented before listing. What you see reflects the actual condition of the watch, with no exceptions.
The pre-owned Franck Muller market offers access to a complication catalogue that was built during one of the most productive periods of independent Swiss watchmaking, with tourbillon and minute repeater references at prices that reflect current market conditions rather than the technical investment those movements represent. The Cintrée Curvex case in precious metals, discontinued complication references and limited dial variants are the most sought-after pieces in this catalogue. Authenticating a Franck Muller complication correctly requires expertise in the specific calibres the manufacture produced, covering movement function, case condition and the dial finishing that defines value across different references. Our 12-month warranty applies to every piece in our catalogue, and our 14-day return policy covers any case where the watch does not correspond to its description.
Franck Muller watches from our catalogue are available for immediate purchase with worldwide insured delivery. Standard delivery within Switzerland takes 2 to 3 business days. Clients purchasing a complication piece who prefer to examine it in person before committing can arrange a private appointment at our Geneva Free Zone lounge, where the watch is presented with full documentation and the movement can be demonstrated on-site.
For buyers based in Switzerland, Financing is available on selected pre-owned Franck Muller references across terms from 3 to 24 months, with no interest and no fee attached. The minimum first payment is 25% of the purchase price, with the balance divided into equal fixed monthly instalments, confirmed at checkout in under three minutes with no documentation required.
