Seiko has manufactured watches in Japan since 1881 and remains one of the most vertically integrated watchmakers in the world, producing its own movements, cases, crystals and dials across facilities that also supply components to other manufacturers. The brand's Spring Drive technology, which combines a mechanical movement with quartz-regulated timing for accuracy measured in seconds per month rather than per day, stands among the most technically distinctive calibres produced anywhere outside Switzerland. Grand Seiko, originally a line within the Seiko catalogue and now an independent brand in its own right, continues to push movement finishing and dial craftsmanship to a level that competes directly with mid-tier Swiss manufacturers.
At WATCHOYSTER, we carry a selection of certified pre-owned Seiko watches, sourced and inspected in Switzerland. Every piece has been physically examined by our in-house certified watchmaker, verified against The Watch Register, and documented before listing. What you see reflects the actual condition of the watch, with no exceptions.
The Seiko catalogue spans an unusually wide range, from accessible automatics to references that rival mid-range Swiss manufacture watches on movement quality and finishing. The pre-owned market is where limited Prospex dive watches, discontinued Presage references and earlier Grand Seiko variants become available, often in excellent condition with original box and papers. Buying a certified second hand Seiko from a verified dealer in Switzerland means every piece has been assessed for movement accuracy, case integrity and dial condition before listing. Our 12-month warranty applies to every watch in our catalogue, and our 14-day return policy covers any case where the watch does not correspond to its description.
All Seiko watches in our catalogue are available for immediate purchase with worldwide insured delivery. Standard delivery across Switzerland takes 2 to 3 business days. For clients who prefer to inspect the watch in person before completing the purchase, our appointment-only lounge in the Geneva Free Zone is available by prior arrangement.
0% financing is available on selected pre-owned Seiko references for clients based in Switzerland, with terms from 3 to 24 months, no interest and no administrative fees. The full purchase price is divided into equal monthly instalments, with a minimum first payment of 25%. A decision takes under three minutes at checkout, with no documentation required beyond standard order information.
