Tudor was founded in Geneva in 1926 by Hans Wilsdorf, who also founded Rolex, with a deliberate purpose: offering watches built to the same case and bracelet standards at a more accessible price point. For decades, Tudor supplied watches to military and naval forces across Europe, most notably the French Marine Nationale, whose divers wore Tudor Submariners throughout the 1960s and 70s, building a functional reputation that continues to shape collector demand for vintage references today. Since 2012, Tudor has operated as a fully independent brand with its own in-house movements, including the COSC-certified MT5602 calibre, giving it manufacture credentials that few competitors at a comparable price point can match.
At WATCHOYSTER, we carry a selection of certified pre-owned Tudor watches, sourced and inspected in Switzerland. Every piece has been physically examined by our in-house certified watchmaker, verified against The Watch Register, and documented before listing. What you see reflects the actual condition of the watch, with no exceptions.
Tudor occupies one of the most actively traded segments of the pre-owned Swiss watch market, with the Black Bay, Pelagos and Ranger collections driving consistent demand while vintage Submariner and Monte Carlo references attract dedicated collector interest in their own right. Buying a certified second-hand Tudor with original box and papers from a verified dealer in Switzerland means authentication is handled by specialists familiar with a market where vintage references in particular require genuine expertise to assess correctly. Our 12-month warranty applies to every piece in our catalogue, and our 14-day return policy covers any case where the watch does not correspond to its description.
All Tudor watches in our catalogue are available for immediate purchase with worldwide insured delivery. Standard delivery across Switzerland takes 2 to 3 business days. For clients who prefer to inspect the watch in person before completing the purchase, our appointment-only lounge in the Geneva Free Zone is available by prior arrangement.
0% financing is available on selected pre-owned Tudor references for clients based in Switzerland, with terms from 3 to 24 months, no interest and no administrative fees. The full purchase price is divided into equal monthly instalments, with a minimum first payment of 25%. A decision takes under three minutes at checkout, with no documentation required beyond standard order information.
