Zenith was founded in Le Locle in 1865 and remains one of the few Swiss manufacturers to develop, produce and assemble its movements entirely in-house. The brand's defining achievement is the El Primero calibre, introduced in 1969 as one of the first automatic chronograph movements ever produced, beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour for greater precision in elapsed time measurement. That calibre, in various iterations, remains the technical backbone of the Chronomaster collection to this day and is widely regarded as one of the most important movements in the history of Swiss watchmaking.
At WATCHOYSTER, we carry a selection of certified pre-owned Zenith watches inspected in Switzerland. Every piece has been physically examined by our in-house certified watchmaker, verified against The Watch Register, and documented before listing. What you see reflects the actual condition of the watch, with no exceptions.
Zenith's in-house manufacture credentials place it among a small group of Swiss brands capable of producing movements from raw components. The pre-owned market offers access to discontinued El Primero references, earlier Chronomaster variants and Defy models that no longer appear at retail. Buying a certified second-hand Zenith from a verified dealer in Switzerland means every piece has been assessed for movement accuracy, case condition, and dial originality before listing. Our 12-month warranty applies to every piece in our catalogue, and our 14-day return policy covers any case where the watch does not correspond to its description.
All Zenith watches in our catalogue are available for immediate purchase with worldwide insured delivery. Standard delivery across Switzerland takes 2 to 3 business days. For clients who prefer to inspect the watch in person before taking possession, our appointment-only lounge in the Geneva Free Zone is available by prior arrangement.
Financing is available on selected pre-owned Zenith references for clients based in Switzerland, with terms from 3 to 24 months, no interest and no administrative fees. The full purchase price is divided into equal monthly instalments, with a minimum first payment of 25%. A decision takes under three minutes at checkout, with no documentation required beyond standard order information.
